This is an interesting read giving some insights to the huge amount of money allocated by the U.S. to help fight the drug and immigration issues within Mexico.

It seems like there is a WHOLE lot of taxpayer dollars chunked out for this initiative with little accountability - hmm - anyone surprised?

John, in Mexico this used to be called 'Puebla Panama' plan, and now it is rehashed to be called 'Merida' plan.

What was said before, here in Mexico, that in exchange for 'security' the USA will get free access to all the 'natural resources' from id-Mexico all the way to Panama, including strip mining, cutting down all the precious woods and any tree the USA so desires.

I hope this is not the selling out of central America to the USA's big business.

It sure looks like a big bonanza give-away by the USA, and when something looks to good to be true' IT IS.
