I don't know what Twitter is, and don't want to. I got back-doored into Facebook somehow, about a year ago. Then it got so big, I said to myself,
"Self, this thing is going to get hacked some day,"
and I closed out my page and notified all my "friends." Sure enough, a few months later and they got hacked into. Someone has the computer information for millions of people.....most of which I'm sure is useless, but think about how many thousands of computer users use the same password for everything on theit PC's and laptops. _________________ Rick |

It is like an instant messaging thing. You can post little tid bits of info and friends and family and random people (if you have a public profile) can see what you type. You can search twitter for any key word like veracruz. I have found it to be a good source of news info. Some examples:
1. There was a small fire near my house in the US and I searched the city name and could read what people were writing about the fire, much faster than waiting for new news.
2. I am following a local yogurt store and they post discounts on twitter.
3. My 7 year old son just started tweeting and it's a good way to kind of keep an online journal of small tidbits from his life. |
